Active Ingredient
- Fluralaner (ACVM No. A011261): Absorbs into the bloodstream after skin application and kills fleas and ticks by disrupting their nervous system. Targets receptors found in insects and mites but not in mammals.
Dosage
Select the pipette that matches your dog's current body weight:
- 2–4.5 kg: Bravecto Spot-On 112.5mg
- 4.5–10 kg: Bravecto Spot-On 250mg
- 10–20 kg: Bravecto Spot-On 500mg
- 20–40 kg: Bravecto Spot-On 1000mg
- 40–56 kg: Bravecto Spot-On 1400mg
Application
- Ensure your dog's back is horizontal
- Part the fur to expose the skin
- Apply the entire contents of the pipette directly to the skin — small dogs (2–4.5kg): 2 spots; medium dogs (4.5–20kg): 3 spots; large dogs (20–56kg): 4 spots along the back
- Do not allow the solution to spread into the fur
- Avoid letting your dog lick the area until the solution has dried
- Keep your dog away from water for 3 days after application
Frequency
Reapply every 6 months for continuous flea protection, or every 4 months for continuous tick control. Can be used year-round.
